Krung Thai bank will launch online tax return transferSeptember 18th, 2008 - 2:58 pm ICT by Amrit Rashmisrisethi
Assistant Managing Director of the State enterprise sector of Krung Thai commercial bank, Mrs. Sriprapa Pringpong (นางศรีประภา พริ้งพงษ์) will meet with the Revenue Department’s Director-General, Mr. Sanit Rangnoi (นายศานิต ร่างน้อย) to sign an agreement over a launch of online Value added tax (VAT) return transfer. This meeting will occur at the Revenue Department’s meeting hall today.
This agreement will allow Krung Thai bank to directly transfer the filed VAT to its customers’ account through KTB i-Pay system. Customers can file tax return with the Revenue Department by depositing money into the department’s assigned account with free of charge. Moreover, this can be done via E-Mail or SMS which will make it more convenient for customers. Devoting to the motto of being “The Convenience Bank,” this new service will be provided from December 1st, 2008 onward.
