Interior Minister and Police Commander meet to revamp strategies on PAD situation
August 28th, 2008 - 1:05 pm ICT by Amrit RashmisrisethiInterior Minister Police General Kowit Watana (โกวิท วัฒนะ) and National Police Commander, Police General Patcharawat Wongsuwan (พัชรวาท วงษ์สุวรรณ) both traveled to the Metropolitan Police Headquarters this morning to receive a briefing on the monitoring of the People’s Alliance for Democracy’s ongoing rally at the Government House. The two also evaluated the situation of the PAD’s movements have deciphered adjustments to strategies on containing the rally.
The new strategies also factor in a court issued injunction against the PAD’s leaders and stage as well as the PAD response in appealing the injunction. Many high ranking police officers and related agencies attended the meeting.
