The House of Representatives’ scheduled meeting this morning to vote on the new Prime Minister to replace outgoing PM Samak Sundaravej, had been canceled. House Speaker Chai Chidchod adjourned the House meeting, rescheduling it to next Wednesday. Many PPP MPs were absent from the House session today as well as the MPs from coalition parties. House Speaker Chai Chidchob said the first quorum check revealed that there were not enough MPs are in the assembly hall.
