Heavy rain in upper Thailand
September 27th, 2008 - 11:48 am ICT by Amrit RashmisrisethiThe Meteorological Department reported at 4 AM today (September 27th) that an intense high pressure system in China will be heading southward, causing a low pressure trough to move down to central and eastern Thailand.
More heavy rain is likely in many places of upper Thailand. People in this region should beware of dangers from heavy rain during this period. All ships should proceed with caution.
Bangkok metropolis and vicinity can expect scattered thundershowers. The daily temperature would range from 26 to 34 degrees Celsius. The speed of southwesterly winds would be around 15 to 35 kilometers per hour.
