The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives cooperate in educating children and farmers about agriculture to prevent them from abandoning their hometowns and develop agriculture.
Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Somchai Wongsawat (สมชาย วงศ์สวัสดิ์) discloses that the two ministries have signed an agreement to establish all state agricultural colleges as a knowledge source of eclogical agriculture. The ministries will arrange teachers to educate local children about agriculture free of charge and will provide land plots for them after they finish the education.
The deputy premier says the ministries expect that the children will be a well-educated farmer after their graduation. He also encourages their parents interested to have more agricultural knowledge to contact an agricultural college near their house.
Apart from the agricultural colleges, the deputy premier says some technical colleges will open the Fix It Center to educate people about agriculture.
