Flood on Mitraphap Road subsides

Pak Chong (ปากช่อง) District Chief Officer Khaneethip Boonket (คณีธิป บุญเกตุ), says traffic on Mitraphap Road in the district has returned to normal following flood inundation.

The district chief officer reports that floodwater on the road has subsided as the governor of Nakhon Ratchasima cooperated with relevant units in urgently releasing water from the road since 20.00 hrs yesterday (September, 12th). In addition, about 95% of canals along the road have been dredged to help release the water.

Mr Khaneethip reports that residents in Pong Prathun (บ้านโป่งประทุน) Village on the riverbanks of Lam Takhong (ลำตะคอง) have been affected by the flood condition. There is one missing person, who was washed away by floodwaters.
