Ex-PM concerned over political situation

Former Prime Minister Gen.Surayud Chulanont expresses concern over the current political situation and requests all sides to be united in resolving the problems in line with His Majesty the King’s speech.
As for the Thai-Cambodian dispute over the overlapping area at Preah Vihear, the former premier says negotiation is the best way to end the row and criticizes political conflicts in the country as they directly affect the people.
Regarding the appointment of new Foreign Affairs Minister Tej Bunnag (เตช บุนนาค), Gen.Surayud says Mr Tej is a capable person and there should not be any problem.
