Former Spokesman of the now defunct Assets Examination Committee (AEC), Sak Korsaengruang (สัก กอแสงเรือง), says AEC did its utmost in investigating the case and there are solid evidences and witnesses to allege former premier’s wife Khunying Potjaman Shinawatra.
Khunying Pojaman and her step brother Bannaphot Damapong are sentenced to three years in prison and her secretary Kanchanapha Honghern two years. Mr Sak says AEC’s work has ended and the case’s solid evidences have led to the verdict today (July, 31st).
Mr Sak also says the three people have the right to appeal but he does not know which issues they will use to appeal against the Supreme Court’s verdict
