Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Somchai Wongsawat (สมชาย วงศ์สวัสดิ์) says he is confident in the premier’s decision on the Cabinet reshuffle. He further added that he would still be at ease should he be transferred.

The deputy premier says he does not know about the Cabinet reshuffle list which has already been submitted to His Majesty the King. In response to criticism that some of the new ministers are not suitable for the posts, Mr Somchai says he does not want to interfere with the premier’s decision on the Cabinet reshuffle.

Mr Somchai also says he will not feel bad if he is removed from his deputy premier post as he thinks that people who work in politics do not have to be a minister.
