Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Colonel Apiwat Viriyachai (อภิวันท์ วิริยะชัย) expressed his belief that the House of Representatives is still a viable forum to solve the nation’s current turmoils but admitted that it may take some time. Colonel Apiwat then stated that whether or not the voting for a new Prime Minister would be rescheduled, would be up to the discretion of the House Speaker.
Nonetheless the Deputy Chairman stated that the issue of the vote is not a key matter, rather the resolution to the nation’s situation is the priority. He also commented that the suggestion for a National Government is not as vital as having the incoming government work to progress the nation and build unity.
