The Democrat Party leader, Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, urges the Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Mr. Samak Sundaravej, to expedite his plan to reshuffle the Cabinet, as it could boost up the confidence of investors and public members.
Mr. Abhisit says Prime Minister Samak needs to make things clear at the time of political turmoil, and by accepting qualified and skillful figures to take important ministerial posts, the government could increase the confidence of all sides.
Mr. Abhisit claims that many sides call on Mr. Samak to look at the current political crisis in a big picture. He suggests him to carefully consider the qualifications of new ministers during the upcoming Cabinet reshuffle.
In response to the news that the former commissioner-general of the Royal Thai Police Commander, Pol. Gen. Kowit Wattana, could be the next Interior Minister, Democrat leader Abhisit says he may not be able to deal with all emergency issues.
