Democrat party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva (อภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ) stated that as today will see the naming of a new Prime Minister, the individual to receive the title must seek to remedy all conflicts for the citizens of the nation, especially those issues fostered during the previous administration. Mr. Abhisit said that any doubts cast on the new PM should be speedily expelled while commenting that negotiations must be conducted to create understanding with the People’s Alliance for Democracy which has declared it will not accept a Coalition Government selected PM.
The Democrat leader affirmed his party’s cooperation in the parliament meeting today, assuring that a walk-out would not take place. He said that the parliament protocol would be upheld.
