Chart Thai party leader Banharn Silapa-archa (บรรหาร ศิลปอาชา) left his home in Soi Charansanitwong 55 early today to attend to personal matters. The atmosphere at the party head’s residence is relatively tranquil with only his son present.
Mr. Banharn last night declared his parties continued membership in the Coalition government in a meeting between the various parties’ heads led by People Power Party and Interim Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawas, PPP Deputy Leader Somphong Amornwiwat (สมพงษ์ อมรวิวัฒน์) and PPP Secretary-General Doctor Surapong Suebwonglee (สุรพงษ์ สืบวงศ์ลี). The meeting called for the Coalition Government’s parties to re-establish their participation.
