Chantaburi province has prepared all security agencies to monitor its major government locations following the mass People’s Alliance Democracy (PAD) rally in Bangkok kick starting earlier this morning.
Provincial Chief Kriangdech Khemthong (เกรียงเดช เข็มทอง), leader of the volunteer ROTC unit 1 has readied his troop with weaponry and anti-riot gear to safeguard government structures.
The previous evening, some 1,000 PAD protesters traveled from the province via 15 vans to join rallies in Bangkok. However, today the situation in the province is relatively normal with most citizens staying at home and following the event on television.
