Cambodian military officials have made their way to the Indo-China hotel in Sa Kaew province to meet with Thai officials who are set to negotiate the Phrea Vihear National Park issue today. Sa Kaew People’s Alliance for Democracy head Amarin Yi-Heng (อัมรินทร์ ยี่เฮง) affirmed that his group would only show their support through the media and would not assemble at the hotel. Mr. Amarin stated that if an assembly did take place at the negotiation venue, it would be a separate group.
Members of the Thai-Cambodian Relations Office have also traveled to meet with the neighboring country’s Prime Minister as well as the nations Foreign Affairs Ministry and Defense Ministry. The briefing of information to the Cambodian officials is expected to take only 20 minutes.
