The Spokesman to the Office of the Prime Minister, Pol. Lt. Gen. Wicheanchote Sukchotirat (วิเชียรโชติ สุกโชติรัตน์), reveals that the Cabinet has assigned the Juridical Council to draft questions which will be in the public referendum. The Juridical Council will base its questions on public demand and the political situation.
Pol. Lt. Gen. Wicheanchote said that once the referendum is approved by the Senate, its implementation will proceed within 30 days after being announced in the Government Gazette (ราชกิจจานุเบกษา). The Spokesman to the Office of the Prime Minister adds that within the 30 day timeframe, different sides will be allowed to address the contents of the referendum, in order to provide the public with sufficient information to base their votes on.
