BMA organizes parade to promote governor electionsSeptember 9th, 2008 - 1:32 pm ICT by Amrit Rashmisrisethi
Permanent Secretary of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) Pongsakti Saemsan (พงศ์ศักติฐ์ เสมสันต์) this morning led civil servants, district officers and over 200 students to join in a parade through the capital. The parade was organized to promote the upcoming election for Bangkok Governor which will take place this coming October 5th.
The parade traveled around Victory Monument and the paraders assisted eachother in fixing promotional signs to near by overpasses. The signs are part of an effort to create awareness amongst citizens and reach the election turn out goal of 70 percent.
