- Army Commander General Anupong Paojinda revealed before traveling to Vietnam that his trip, that will last until tomorrow, is a normal mission to enrich relations between the two nations’ military leaders. General Anupong said that he has a personal relationship with his Vietnamese counterpart and was invited to visit the nation. He assured that the ongoing Thai-Cambodian border dispute would not be discussed during his visit.
The Army Commander declined to comment on the Phrea Vihear National Park’s situation, stating that in the past the army had already commented too much on the issue.
