Apirak confident to be re-elected
September 29th, 2008 - 11:16 am ICT by Amrit RashmisrisethiMr. Apirak Kosayodhin, a prominent Bangkok governor candidate from Democrat party, has expressed confidence he would emerge as the Bangkok gubernatorial upcoming election this Sunday.
Mr. Apirak Kosayodhin, a Bangkok governor candidate from Democrat party carrying number 5 for upcoming Sunday election and a fomrmer Bangkok governor, has joined campaigned held by his party on Sunday at the Royal Plaza, the location of statue of King Rama V.
Democrat’s party leader Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva and other some 1,000 party’s members also joined the Sunday campaign.
The group then proceeded to worship the King Rama V’s statue asking the great king for their luck in the upcoming election.
Mr. Apirak said that his party was ready to build up future for the party and a better future for the Thai people to let them to have real participation in administering the country. The party was prepared to work for Bangkokkians. He himself was confident to be winner of the upcoming October 5 election.
All polls conducted earlier by various institutions indicated Mr. Apirak as the clear winner of the upcoming Bangkok governor election, beating other rivals with relatively wide margin.
