The Commander in Chief of the Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Chalit Pukphasuk (ชลิต พุกผาสุข), reports that the annual Air Force officer reshuffle list is 50 percent complete.
ACM Chalit said that concerns over political interference in the military reshuffle are unwarranted. He expressed his firm belief that the Air Force will not be pressured by political figures, as this particular branch of the armed forces possesses specific criteria for the reshuffle of its officers. ACM Chalit affirms that officers’ duty assignments will be based on their qualifications and not on military class connections.
The Commander in Chief of the Air Force adds that the Ministry of Defence Regulation Decree has standardized the reshuffle of military officers and increased fairness.
