Agricultural and Cooperatives Minister observes Kwai Noi Dam construction
September 8th, 2008 - 4:55 pm ICT by Amrit RashmisrisethiMinister of Agricultural and Cooperatives Somsak Prissanananthakul (สมศักดิ์ ปริศนานันทกุล) travels to Phitsanulok province to monitor the construction of Kwai Noi Dam.
Although the construction has been delayed by 13%, the dam has already started storing water. The dam, scheduled to be fully completed in February, 2011, is expected to benefit agricultural areas of more than 156,000 rai and raise the standards of life of people living near the dam.
Phitsanulok is implementing 60 projects to develop occupations of its residents. 27 million baht is estimated for the projects which are almost completed as planned.
