A nearly strong southwest monsoon dominates over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rainfall and heavy to very heavy rains are expected in many places of the country.
People in the risky areas in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Phayao, Nan, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok, Phichit, Phetchabun, Sakon Nakhon, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Kalasin, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Si Saket and Ubon Ratchathani provinces. People should beware of flooding conditions, and all ships should proceed with caution due to high waves during this period.
Bangkok metropolis and vicinity can expect Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. The daily temperature would range from 26 to 34 degrees Celsius. The speed of southwesterly winds would be around 15 to 35 kilometers per hour.
