3 BKK Governor candidates show off policies at Srinakharinwirot University
September 26th, 2008 - 3:04 pm ICT by Amrit RashmisrisethiFollowing the heat of Bangkok Governor race, Srinakharinwirot University (Prasarnmit Campus) has recently invited three major candidates to run their campaign at the campus.
Caretaker Bangkok Governor Apirak Kosayothin (อภิรักษ์ โกษะโยธิน) has been promoting his ‘green fee’ program in an effort to prevent waste and contamination in water in canals in the metropolis whilst Dr. Kriangsak Charoenwongsak (เกรียงศักดิ์ เจริญวงศ์ศักดิ์) claims his team possesses professional officials to help seek cooperation from other organizations. At the same time, Mr. Chuwit Kamolvisit (ชูวิทย์ กมลวิศิษฎ์) has still been attacking scores of projects, created during the administration of Mr. Apirak.
Outstanding candidate Apirak Kosayothin shores up his key policy in solving waste water problem, by adopting water management from Europe. The strategy requires public members to consume an economical amount of water, which will result in less pollution to water in canals. The concept is that the less the waste and polluted water, the less payments consumers must surrender to heal water crisis.
Another dominant candidate Kriangsak Charoenwongsak claims his team is fully prepared with professional personnel in cooperating with both public and private organizations in an effort to administrate Bangkok metropolis effectively and efficiently. At the same time, non-partisan candidate Chuwit Kamolvisit has been criticizing initiatives and bringing up deficits of Mr. Apirak’s projects.
