PTT to lower its retail oil prices tomorrow
July 24th, 2008 - 2:30 pm ICT by Amrit RashmisrisethiPTT Public Company Limited is expected to lower its retail oil prices and perform excise tax cut for all types of oil tomorrow (July 25th).
In this connection, the retail prices of gasohol 91 and gasohol 95 at PTT gas stations will decrease by 4.70 baht to stay at 30.29 baht a liter and 31.09 baht a liter respectively. The retail diesel price will drop by 3.50 baht to stand at 38.74 baht per liter, while the retail price of benzene 91 will move down by 80 satang a liter to stay at 38.59 baht a liter.
The PTT President, Mr. Prasert Bunsumpun (ประเสริฐ บุญสัมพันธ์), says the oil price reduction will be line with the decreasing global oil prices. Last night, crude oil in the global market plummeted to 124.44 US dollars a barrel.
