It was announced yesterday that Xbox is undergoing maintenance and the scheduled outage was supposed to be for a specific amount of time. The time limit seems to have exceeded and now users are impatient, hope Microsoft has answers to their questions. Lets see if we can find some answers for you.

Sources say that Zune Social, Zune Marketplace or Zune.net forums are down and will remain the same. Other sections which are down include My Xbox on Xbox.com, and the forums will only be read only. But here goes the silver lining in the cloud. It seems with this maintenance Xbox is preparing with some new features. Now, thats good new, so Microsoft is asking you to be patient.

Some issues are pending and needs to be wind up before they close the scheduled maintenance so you are asked to hold on to the panicking mails which are being send across.

Sources reveal that users are trying to fix their Xbox on their, then be informed that its not with your Xbox its with the technology that is going to take sometime to be back on track. Moreover, indication of your Xbox at risk will be notified by three blinking lights which as of now is not on as their is nothing wrong with the systems but on a whole Microsoft is doing regular maintenance so that the performance level is enhanced and users benefit even more out of the technology.
