Feb 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Wordpress, which is used by millions of bloggers all over the world experienced some downtime issues. It has been reported that the outage problem of this site affected the users for almost a couple of hours yesterday. As per the reports, the officials of the site had confirmed the news of downtime in a tweet and indicated that their technical experts have started working for fixing the problem.

Reports indicate that even though the officials of Wordpress has indicated that their team has started to work on the outage problem, they have not provided any information when the service would be restored completely. As per the last updates, the officials also had not cited the reason of the problem.

Wordpress is visited by around 220 million people every month and many of them had to face some inconveniences for the downtime issue. The company officials who were clueless about the reason of sudden technical glitches posted a blog stating that they were collecting details of the problem. Though they did not provide the actual information, they indicated that “unscheduled change to a core router by one of our datacenter providers” might have caused the problem. The post also indicated that the mechanism of the site in Chicago and San Antonio were also affected by the error. The technical problems of Wordpress has been a cause of concern for people who have their data in this site. However, the site officials informed that all data are secured and people should not be worried for the loss of their data. All data would be available once the site starts functioning normally.
