Dec.13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Spike Video Games Awards was an event the veteran gamers looked forward to. This is because the event raised curtain on a few most anticipated games of 2010. The viewers got the chance to get their first impressions of Batman Arkham asylum 2, Halo Reach and Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2. The videos and pictures of these games got leaked in some sites earlier but this was the first event where the games trailers were shown to the public officially. However, the teaser trailers of these games did not have much to offer the viewers about the gameplay. Instead they had clippings containing the actions of the games.

A lot of gamers addicted to the Star Wars franchise were avidly waiting for the much touted LucasArts game sequel. It has been made as a sequel to the popular Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The trailer of the game showed Starkiller, the TFU protagonist battling it out with a boss monster. The company has not specified the actual release timing but it will come out sometimes in the first quarter of 2010. The earlier game in this franchise became popular with the gamers for its impressive story line, clever use of weapons and awesome visual effects.

The trailers are already available in various websites for download. The earlier game in the series was a huge hit, selling more than 5 million copies. Though the company has not confirmed the platforms on which this game will be available, it is highly likely that it will be launched in both Xbox and PS3 versions. The story of the new game begins from where the first one left off.
