June 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Verizon Wireless has not got the contract for the new version of iPhone but it is in news for other reasons. The US carrier is all set to release The Galaxy S Smartphone variant made by Samsung electronics, the Korea based Electronics giant. The fascinate which was unveiled yesterday boasts of features like meaty 1GHz Hummingbird processor a huge 4 inch multi touch display is headed for a release by Verizon wireless. Samsung in fact released three Galaxy S smart phones including the Vibrant and Epic. The carrier however has not said much on arrival date information or cost of the model.

The Fascinate has fascinating features indeed that will sweep the gadget lovers off their feet. Its USP is the giant 4 inch multitouch Super AMOLED screen. It runs on Android 2.1 OS. Apart from Verizon’s efficient 3G network the Fascinate is capable of connecting to the net by means of WiFi. Moreover, it doubles up as a mobile hotspot for 5 Wi Fi devices. The other usual features like Google mobile services, MMS are there. The inclusion of Bing search is rather amazing on an android device. The camera in the Fascinate is 5 MP but it is pretty powerful and supports 720p HD video recording.

Verizon will offer its V Cast Music with this phone. The Fascinate ships with a 16 GB memory card and apart from that the internal storage is 2 GB. Its virtual Qwerty keypad is ideal for the frequent web users. The handset also has an advanced six-axis sensor for enhanced gaming experience. It is expected to be priced around $200.
