Verizon confirms that there is a screen problem with Motorola Droid X, announces a fix for it

dead New York, July 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Verizon has confirmed that the new Motorola Droid X has a problem with the screen. However Verizon said the problem affects only small number of the handsets.

Users of the Motorola Droid have complained of flickering of the screen. Most users complained about dead pixels and annoying flickering of images on their phones.

However Verizon hasn’t been able to identify the cause of the screen problem but it said Motorola has been made aware of the problem and the phone maker has fixed the problem. According to the statement that was issued by Verizon, Motorola is still shipping the phones to the shops after the problem was fixed.

Internet has been flooded with videos and complaints of the screen problem of the Droid. But Verizon maintains that the problem might probably exist in only 0.1% of all the Droids that have been shipped out.

The phone, which runs on Google’s Android, was released just last Thursday and according to Verizon’s online store, the phone instantly sold out. Verizon assured customers that have placed an order for the phone that they would have in August when the next batch is expected to be shipped.
