Ugly Meter: New iPhone Application Makes Waves

While some of these applications are really useful for the users and help them get more out of their phones, there are some others people find gimmicky. It seems that the new Ugly Meter application for iPhone belongs to the second set of apps. It can run on the fourth-generation iPod Touch as well as iPhone 4. The results obtained by using the application can shock some people. It has been tried on some of the well known celebs and the score high. The rule is the higher score one gets the uglier he or she is. actress Angelina Jolie gets a low score indicating her looks are not digitally enhanced but her partner Brad Pitt gets high score in this app!

The Ugly Meter application has been released by a developer duo known as the Dapper Gentlemen. The app can be downloaded for just $0.99 from the App store. It has an interactive interface and the developers claim that the results are produced real time. The application will not slowdown the iPhone as it has a meager memory footprint of 5.5 MB. The application runs on iOS 3 or later versions which mean a lot of Apple device owners would be able to use it.

The Dapper Gentlemen are graphic artist and app developers. They unite their talents to make cutting edge applications for Apple devices including the iPad. They also love to remake popular games from 1980s with latest updates and technologies.
