SAN FRANCISCO (BNO NEWS) — Users of the social networking website Twitter were experiencing technical problems on early Sunday, and the company said it was investigating the cause.
The problems started around 4.30 a.m. ET when some users were unable to log on to the website. “Something is technically wrong,” the error message read. Others were able to access the website, but were unable to see messages - or Tweets - from others.
“We’re aware that some users are experiencing frozen timelines and are working to address the issue,” a post on the company’s blog read. It did not say when the problems, which did not affect all users, may be resolved.
