Twitter Hacked By ‘Iranian Cyber Army’

twitterDec. 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Security issues is one of the greatest concerns for the social networking sites. Twitter, which is a popular social networking site this year reported multiple issues related to its security. The site has been invaded by the hackers by quite a few times, and this time it was hacked once more. According to the sources, a gang of cyber criminals who claimed themselves as the ‘Iranian Cyber Army’ took the advantage of weak security system and hacked the site.

Users experienced server outage problem and other technical problem for this hacking but they consider it to be one of the usual technical glitches experienced by the site. However, later reports surfaced that it was not a usual technical hiccup experienced by the site. The site was down as a group of hackers have illegally intruded the social networking site. The hackers posted a message at the bottom of the page, which translated in English indicates that U.S.A have a wrong conception of controlling all activities of the internet. Iranian Cyber Army claimed that it is they who manage the Internet by their power. Establishing their power by hacking Twitter, the hackers warned not to stimulate Iranians.

This is not the first time that Twitter has been hacked and this hacking has once again raised question on the security system of the site, which has accounts of well known celebrities too. However, the site has recovered the problems and has started functioning once again. Yet, people have been recommended to change the password of the account with which they have sign in to Twitter.
