textMar 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tiger Woods probably would have been happy to see this. A new software has been developed, one that would help the user to send confidential messages, without anyone ever finding any trace of them. In fact, even the receiver of the texts would not be able to retain them in his or her phone. Named the TigerText, this software allows the sender to set a time limit to the message that he is sending. Once the allotted time is up, the message automatically gets deleted, from the phone of the sender, the receiver, or even the server.

TigerText is an application that can be installed only in an iPhone. The real fun in this software lies in the fact that if a message is sent using this, it does not really get sent to the phone of the receiver. instead, when the message is sent, the person on the other side receives the notification, but it is not possible for him or her to read it unless an application is installed.

The sender can set a time limit to the message, anything from a minute to five days, or for the overly cautious, a “delete on read” setting is a better option. In the last one, a countdown of a minute stars as soon as the message is opened, and after that, it automatically self destructs. Although this really sounds like this is making things easier for philanderers or possible criminals, the founder, Jeffrey Evans, insists that the real motive is to help people maintain their privacy. Even the name had been thought of before Tiger Woods came out of his closet.
