Mar 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Aside from the fact that the texting interface seems almost impossible to use, one of the major complaints about the Apple iPhone is that it always conks out in the afternoon, or after a few hours of use. So if you take your iPhone to work with you, and either cannot plug in the charger, or forget to bring it, the phone will stop working before you go home.
Well now it seems that the problem may have been solved by a company known as Muzatch, which is owned by USA Solar and Digital Communications Technologies LLC. Muzatch is developing a new solar powered iPhone station which will boost battery efficiency, by giving the iPhone a complete power boost. This solar charger will weigh in at 9.8 ounces, and will work for both the iPhone, and the iPod and Nano devices.
According to a statement made by the founder, Willie E. Nason, “With the need to move towards a more energy efficient nation, by investing in renewable sources of energy, it was imperative that we seek solar energy not only for our homes and businesses, but our electronic devices as well, and make it affordable.” The company is now hard at work on a solar charger for Blackberry phones as well. The solar charger has over 200 uses and will last over 4 years when used everyday that the sun is available.
