The E3 press conference yesterday revealed a lot of news. One much awaited news was that Sims 3 will be getting a midnight release. It was announced at the press conference that Sims 3 will be available to Sims fans tonight onwards.

John Riccitiello, CEO of Electronic Arts (EA) Games made the announcement. The official trailer for the latest Sims installment was also displayed alongside. It is certainly evident from the trailer that it has been worth the wait. The newest Sims is by far the best, in terms of both format and graphics.

Riccitiello also informed that 12 games will be released, that are the handiwork of 12 different game developers. But it is common knowledge that Sims is going to hog the light in all possible ways. Though Sims was leaked last week, the curiosity and hype surrounding it has not died down in any manner. EA received a big blow when Sims was downloaded from torrent by more than 180,000 fans. The Sims 3 also has an uncensored patch for users who prefer using it.

The Sims series has already proved to be a raging hit world wide ever since its release. With the first two installments already in big league, there was little doubt regarding the third. The attention garnered by Sims before its release makes it evident that Sims rules.

The newest Sims gives players more free access to the town and makes it more interactive and all encompassing. It is refreshing and new, yet does not lose its old flavor. This quality will credit Sims 3’s rule in the gaming world. And the Sims characters are as adorable as ever. For Sims lovers, the Sims society becomes more alive and real day by day.
