Sign of the times: Queen joins Facebook

For some reasons, Facebook users are not allowed to be “friends” with the Queen or any member of the Royal Family on the most popular social networking site in the world.
The page will however be a place for anyone seeking information on the Royal Family because the page will be automatically updated quickly to ensure that the daily routines of the members are reflected on the page. Users will however be allowed to comment on any of the ongoing daily engagements of the Royal Family.
Pictures of the Royal Family members will be uploaded on to the highly interactive Facebook page. Users can check out all the programs of the Royal Family by checking the “Near Me” application that has been built into the application. The page on Facebook is the latest addition to the many technological innovation that the Royal Family is using to stay in touch with the public. The Royal Family has a Twitter account which is @BritishMonarchy. The account has some 70,000 followers.
