Reliance Unveils New Android CDMA Phone In India

They usually have to opt for few handsets offered by specific service providers. Unlike GSM service users they cannot change their handsets at their whim. However, the leading CDMA operators in the country have started offering more handsets in recent times. Reliance telecommunications is one of the top CDMA players in India and it has recently announced of a new and feature packed Samsung Handset. The USP of the model is that it runs on Android OS. The upcoming Galaxy i899 handset will hit the stores shortly and the Reliance CDMA users can buy the handset and avail the features.

The Samsung Galaxy i899 that will be offered by Reliance CDMA service in India is likely to have a high price tag. This is evident as the phone comes with several top notch features. This phone is clearly aimed at the demanding and corporate users. It has a large Touch screen and 3.2 MP camera with LED flash for taking good quality images. For wireless connectivity there are features like Bluetooth and Wi Fi. Its 230 MB internal memory is quite generous but one can always add to it by means of external memory card. On that front it supports microSD card with a maximum capacity of 32 GB.

With this phone Reliance is trying to cater to the need of the high end users who want a feature loaded CDMA phone. It has extensive web browsing capability and will give the company a boost in its sales.
