Oct.23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Psystar has released a software solution that is going to make it far easier for the users to use the Mac OS X operating systems on their PCs. It is going to be available for the USD 50 only. It supports other operating systems too. That would enable users to have multi boot systems on their computers. The software supports Intel Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, Core i7 and Xeon Nehalem too.
The Psystar Rebel EFI is enabled with Psystar’s latest technologies. This technology allows problem free operations between systems. With the Rebel EFI, it is now easier to install multi operating systems, that too in the same system. This has been made possible by the generic and highly advanced hardware from Intel. If the authenticated version of the software is downloaded, it would allow the permanent installation of these operating systems. It also provides the DUBL and also supplies such hard ware profile features that are supported by the system. The software also provides drivers that are related to it. The support needed for the installation of the software also comes with it.
Psystar is about to launch an “approval program.” This is for users who will have difficulty in setting up their systems with the products of Psystar. They would be able to send in their components which could then be certified for compatibility. At present, potential users will be allowed to download the Rebel EFI for free. However, it is only a free trial that would have a running life of only two hours. There is one small glitch. Apple feels that the use of the Mac OX S hardware on computers of any other brand violates license of operating systems.
