Motorola Launches Cliq 2 At CES 2011

motorola-cliq-2-android-frontJan 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The countdown for the much awaited tech extravaganza of the year aka CES 2011 is over and the leading tech companies are unveiling their upcoming gadgets and tech products in quick succession. It is evident that Motorola is having a field day at CES this year and it has already announced a plethora of devices at the Las Vegas event. Motorola in fact has launched three different products and each of them are being offered in collaboration with various carriers. While the Motorola Xoom, the much touted Honeycomb tablet will be offered in USA by Verizon, the Droid Bionic Smart phone is being offered by AT&T. As if that is not enough to seize the smart phone market, Motorola has also unveiled the Cliq2 smart phone which will be offered by T-Mobile USA.

The Cliq2 comes with Motorola’s famous MotoBlur interface which basically offers a tight integration with social networking applications like Twitter and Facebook. The smart phone has rounded curves and looks cute. The 3.7 inch Touchscreen offers the menu controls and there is also a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for those who do not like the virtual on screen keyboard. Similar to its cousin Atrix 4G, the Cliq2 also runs on Android 2.2 Froyo.

The cliq2 has impressive spec including a 1GHz CPU, 1GB memory, 5 MP camera with twin LED flash. The camera also supports autofocus. It also comes with DLNA hence the users can link it with other DLNA enabled devices. The device has a smoke gray finish with titanium hue. T-Mobile has said that the handset will be available for sale by the end of this month. However, its pricing has not been disclosed yet.
