Motorola Droid Set To Battle Out Apple’s iPhone

appleOct 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Verizon’s advertisement for the new Motorola Droid phone has created a great hype in the market. Verizon has launched an attack on the Apple iPhone with their advertisement of Motorola Droid. Advertisement of the Motorola Droid which is named as ‘Droid Does’ points out the shortcomings of the Apple iPhone. It clearly highlights the features and supports that the popular iPhone of Apple lacked.

The advertisement stated the features that was not present in the Apple iPhone will be available in the new Motorola Droid. It stated that the phone does not have any real keyboard and does not have the mechanism for running applications simultaneously. It also highlighted other weaknesses of the Apple phone including the fact that one cannot take night shots with the iphone camera. One cannot get the Apple iphone customized, which is also considered as a major shortcoming of the phone. The advertisement of Motorola Droid pointed out iphone’s inability for open developments. Running widgets was also not possible in the greatly hyped iphone. Though the phone was quite expensive yet it did not have any interchangeable batteries.

Motorola Droid which will hit the market just before the festive season has multiple features and is expected to be popular among the gadget freaks. Some of the features available in the Motorola Droid includes 5 megapixel camera with flash for pictures in low light and Google Android 2.0. The phone will have touch screen keyboard as well as real keyboard. Unlike the iphone it will support multiple tasks. Verizon has launched attack on iphone even before releasing the phone in the market.
