October 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Verizon Motorola Droid has created quite a hype among the smartphone lovers ever since the release of Motoroala Droid advertisement and pictures. People have been more interested to know the Motorola Droid release date. Earlier, sources had stated that the phone would be released in November. However, later it has come to the news that the new phone of Motorola is slated to be released on 30th October 2009, just before the festive season.

Verizon Motorola Droid has created a hype in the market by releasing the advertisement which was an attack on the Apple iphone that had not been successful to fulfill expectations of smartphone lovers. The advertisement of the new phone stated the features that were lacking in the Apple iphone. It also stated that the Verizon Motorola Droid would have all those features. Though the Motorola Droid has created a hype with these advertisements and pictures yet people would have to wait for few days to get the phone in stores. Apple iphone had also created a great hype before its release in the market but finally could not live up to the expectations of people. Speculations have already started whether the new smartphone of Verizon Motorola would be able to meet the expectations of people.

As stated by the sources, Droid is the joint effort of Google, Motorola and Verizon. Sources also stated that the phone is expected to have a camera of 5 megapixel, auto focus, flash, capacitive display of 3.7 inches and Bluetooth 2.0. The other features expected to be in the phone are Wi Fi, video recorder, headphone jack and GPS.
