Jan.7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After stunning the mobile handset industry with its android based Droid also known as Milestone, US based handset maker Motorola is going to unleash yet another powerful model in the market. Initially named as Motorola Backflip the new model looks stunning and boasts of impressive specs. To an extent, it resembles the Motorola Cliq. However, its keyboard is much improved. The phone uses the slightly dated Android 1.5 OS but still packs in enough features to woo the smartphone users.
While the keyboard is less responsive than that of the Droid, its on screen keyboard is good enough for the majority of the users. Sanjay Jha, the CEO of Motorola, is credited with bringing back the company from the verge of oblivion. He is pretty upbeat about the new model and thinks that it will give the smartphone users a whole new experience. It is the first phone from Motorola to have a touchpad behind its display.
The Backflip from Motorola also features a powerful 5 MP camera that also has LED flash and autofocus. It captures video at reasonable frame rates and the quality of the images and video, while not exceptional, is pretty good. The inclusion of a 3.5 mm stereo headphone socket means you can plug in your desired headphone and enjoy pristine music quality. The Motoblur interface is present in this model which is a boon for the social networking addicts. It is yet to be known which carrier will launch the phone. The images and video of the model are already available in the market.
