May 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The fans of the game ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2′ who own a PS3 or PC have been waiting eagerly for the first DLC to arrive for months. The wait is going to be over as the Stimulus Package for the PS3 and PC owners is being made available today. So far, only the Xbox 360 owners were able to enjoy the extra goodies that come with the stimulus pack owing to an agreement the game manufacturer signed with Microsoft. After the DLC was released on Xbox Live, it was downloaded 2.5 million times which set a new record. This made the waiting for the PS3 and PC owners even more taxing.

The ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2′ stimulus package offers a set of 5 maps. The maps are Overgrown, Crash, Storm, Salvage and Bailout. The stimulus is sure to be downloaded by the PS3 owners but the hefty price tag may disappoint some of them. The update will come at a cost of $15 approximately. Apart from the new maps, the ‘Modern Warfare 2′ gamers will also be able to enjoy playing through the new game modes that come with the download.

The stimulus mode is meant for 8 to 12 players and in it the new stimulus maps can be used by the players. In Stimulus Hardcore mode of the game, there will be few more options and only the new stimulus maps will be available to the players. The Team Tactical mode is available for all ‘Modern Warfare 2′ gamers and it is meant for 6 to 8 players. Therefore, the players have a wide choice.
