lg_expo_3Dec.12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Korea based leading consumer electronic giant LG has a range of advanced and feature packed cellphones in its kitty. While a few years back LG phones were not used by many people, the scenario has changed drastically now. The company has several smart-phones and touch screen enabled phones in its portfolio that are enjoying widespread popularity. Recently the company revealed the details of an advanced smart phone with a detachable projector. The new model is named LG Expo. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 OS.

This phone makes use of LG’s famous S-Class user interface with attractive cube menu display. The virtual qwerty keyboard is a joy to use. It is likely to be launched on AT&T’s network. Apart from the external projector this phone also offers decent multimedia features. Those who are not comfortable with the on screen keyboard can use its sliding physical keyboard. The keys are well spaced out and the feedback is good.

It also comes with a 5 MP camera that takes decent pictures. However, it is not as good as a dedicated digital camera. For storing the images and media files there is a memory card slot. The price of the model remains to be known. However, the projector comes at an extra cost. The projector feature is likely to be appreciated by the corporate users who need to carry their work with them. The phone itself looks quite attractive and its touch screen is also quite responsive. It can challenge the existing smart-phones from the stables of Samsung, RIM and Nokia.
