iTunes Error 5002 Baffles iPod Users

itunesDec.19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Apple is known for making category killer hardware peripherals and software that set new standard of perfection for the users. However, when its products develop some glitches, the users are left baffled. Recently the users of iPod, Apple’s popular personal media player, encountered a problem when they were trying to download songs from the iTunes Store. The error code was 5002 and it made a lot of iPod users confused. They could not determine if it was a software related problem or their devices were malfunctioning. They searched the web for finding a solution to the problem.

Apple promptly reacted to the problem and issued instructions on Apple care to resolve the same. The iTunes users who are suffering from this problem can download a software named App Cleaner. After locating the folder of iTunes, it needs to be dropped in the window of App Cleaner. After erasing the old version of iTunes, a fresh version can be installed from the Apple site. iTunes is Apple’s proprietary media player software that is bundled with QuickTime and its media playback products like iPod and Mac range of PCs. Some manufacturers like HP bundle it with their PCs.

It is a free application and supports various file formats besides the widely used mp3. Apple updates the software from time to time. It is also available for Microsoft Windows. However, the application can be quite resource hungry and can bring older systems to their knees. Like most of the Apple applications iTunes sports a sleek uncluttered interface and offers useful features like Genius playlist.
