iTune Lala Part Ways, Apple Calls It Official

New York, May 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Putting an end to all speculations, Apple is pulling down the shutters for Lala on May 31. The decision gains grounds as the company plans to shift to a new music service for iTunes. However, in spite of the official decision the buzz is strong that Apple Inc. has plans in store to merge itunes with Lala which shall be in accordance to the initiation of a brand new revenue model. Reportedly, iTunes already have 125 million dedicated customers all over the world.
Apples cut down on Lala’s services is speculated to be a smart business move from the electronics giant. Although Apple is putting a stop on Lala’s services, there has been no word from the company regarding the launch or introduction of an alternate music service provider. As a matter of fact iTunes dotes upon all direct purchases which finds its way with the $1o subscription charges which happens to usher in fast revenues for the company.
The officials of Apple made it clear in the announcement that Apple shall not accept any new users subscribing for the music service which is pulling its plugs off on May 31, 2010. However, it was also said that all mp3 songs which has already been purchased at Lala shall be played as a part of the collections listed under the user’s local music library. Services like web songs and gift cards have been made unavailable at Lala along with no new upload. The users are free to use the service up till May 31 but won’t get to access any dedicated services or any new content.
