15709754Jan 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Apple iPhone users in some parts of the world are irate because the alarm in their phones did not work as promised by Apple despite the company promising that the bug will be resolved. The various social networking sites were loaded with comments and posts from the angry iPhone users who said that their alarms did not sound for three days in a succession. The tech pundits are of the opinion that the iOS 4 could be the culprit and it can also be possible that the glitch is caused by an update given to the older iPhones. The iPhone users in Europe and Asia complained that they got late for work on January 1st as the alarm in their phones did not ring in time. Some users mockingly commented on twitter that they may start using old fashioned alarm clocks.

Apple took note of the issue and said that by Monday the iPhone glitch would be taken care of. It is evident that the alarm error is not only limited to iPhone but other Apple products have also been affected by it. It is too early to say whether this will hamper the sales of Apple products but tech analysts say that Apple needs to take note of that problem as the results have proved to be widespread. Some users reportedly lost their flights because of the alarm malfunction.

This is not the first time that alarm glitch haunted iPhone users. In November last year iPhone and iPod Touch alarms went off later in Europe after switching to the daylight saving time. Similar problem had hit the users in September in New Zealand and Australia.
