iphone London, Nov 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Sunday, Britain’s time was adjusted one hour late and it seems iPhone 4 users in the country had a hard time dealing with that. Most of them were late for work on Monday as software hitch prevented the alarm on their phones from buzzing on the right time.

The glitch caused the users to post angry comments on Twitter about the product. The glitch happened despite the fact that other features of the phone automatically adjusted to the changed time perfectly. A particular tweet read “Well done Apple — you’ve made me decide I need to use a proper alarm clock rather than relying on my iPhone” while another more angry one said “Stupid iPhone alarm clock went off an hour late. What a great start to the week”

This is not the first time Apple’s iPhone 4’s alarm has failed. A similar problem was experienced by iPhone 4 users in Australia when the country switched to daylight saving time. In the case of the Australian users, their alarm went off one hour earlier and Apple promised that it had fixed the problem and no such issue will affect Britain.

Apple described the iPhone 4 as its most successful product ever. The company has not commented on the glitch.
