Steve Jobs the Apple CEO stole the show in San Francisco in the Worldwide Developers Conference 2010 as he announced the availability of the iPhone 4. It is something the Apple fans had been waiting for a long time.

A few months earlier prototypes of the model were leaked into the web by tech sites like Gizmodo.

When the iPhone 4 will hit the stores the older generation iPhone 3G will not be made anymore. However, the second generation iPhone 3Gs will still be available.

The upcoming iPhone 4 will be available for $199 with a 2 year contract.

While the 16GB version of the iPhone 4 will cost one $199 the 32 GB version will be sold for $299. The new version of iPhone is even more svelte than its predecessor iPhone 3GS.

Looks wise its similar to the images leaked on the web earlier. The new iPhone introduces 3.5-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 960×640. It will result in enhanced brightness and clarity. Therefore watching 720p HD movies on the screen of the new iPhone is going to be a lot better.
