iphone-4-launchJune 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Even a few years back Apple was nowhere in the mobile business scene and Nokia was at the numero uno spot in the market. Things have changed drastically after the release of iPhone 3G and the release of its subsequent versions. The latest iPhone named iPhone 4 has been released and like its predecessors the rumors and hype around it are only increasing with each passing day. Apple has revamped the phone from the scratch and the improvements both in the software and hardware front deserve praise. However, that is not to say the phone is without its share of the drawbacks. A number of flaws in the new iPhone has been found by tech experts already.

A fake tweet saying the iPhone 4 may be recalled created some confusion among the users. However, later it turned out to be a hoax. For the users of the iPhone, the carrier is more of a problem than the device itself. From its inception three years back iPhone has support for 3G but the shoddy 3G network of carrier AT& T still proves to be a bottleneck for the users. Apart from call drops and inconsistent 3G coverage, the new data plans offered by the network has left many iPhone buyers and users grumbling.

The iPhone 4 also faces new competition from the upcoming Motorola Droid X which is being released by rival carrier Verizon Wireless. Verizon offers more logical data plans and its superior 3G network is well known. In areas with weak signal the new iPhone 4 is reportedly faring worse than older iPhone 3GS, a flaw that Apple needs to fix quickly.
